Hoe lang duurt het voor hormonale acne verbetert?

Reken op minimaal 6 tot 12 weken voor je een duidelijk verschil ziet. Dat klinkt lang, maar huid vernieuwt zich traag. Wie eerder van product wisselt, geeft haar huid nooit de kans om te stabiliseren.

Kan hormonale acne vanzelf overgaan?

Kan ik hormonale acne behandelen met huidverzorging alleen?

Huidverzorging met de juiste werkzame ingrediënten zoals niacinamide en azelaïnezuur kan hormonale acne duidelijk verbeteren. Maar alleen milde crèmes zonder actieve stoffen zijn niet voldoende. De combinatie van de juiste producten, consistentie en geduld maakt het verschil.

Is hormonale acne hetzelfde als tieneracne?

Niet helemaal. Tieneracne ontstaat door de hormonale piek in de puberteit en zit vaker op het voorhoofd en de neus. Hormonale acne bij volwassen vrouwen zit lager op het gezicht en volgt de hormoonschommelingen van de cyclus, anticonceptie of de levensfase. De aanpak is dan ook anders.

Wat is het verschil tussen hormonale acne en gewone acne?
